Game of Thrones is a multi-award-winning fantasy drama that has run for an epic seven seasons on HBO, with the much-anticipated eighth and final season premiering in 2019. Set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos, the series chronicles the realm’s noble families in their violent power struggle for the Iron Throne. First broadcast in the US in April 2011.
